Texas Interpreting Services is dedicated to enhancing communication between hearing and Deaf or hard of hearing persons. TXIS provides interpreters/transliterators for a wide variety of settings, including: Vocational, Educational, Business, Conference, Legal, Medical and Entertainment. TXIS roster of interpreters/transliterators consists of nationally certified professionals, NIC/RID/NAD/BEI and QUALIFIED pre-certified interpreters/transliterators.

TXIS’s administrative staff is experienced, reliable and efficient, fulfilling our mission statement of Quality, Integrity and Stability with every assignment. We ensure that each request is matched with the appropriate interpreter and that each assignment is fully documented in accordance with the client’s specifications.

TXIS is HUB certified, nationally certified by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), and a member of Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services. We have been providing Certified/Qualified interpreters since January 1996.

We provide:
• American Sign Language interpreting for: Group or individual meetings/evaluations, trainings and company orientations, medical appointments, educational classes, court/legal appointments, workshops/seminars, public and private events.
• TXIS interpreters are qualified in the following sign styles: American Sign Language (ASL), Signed Exact English (SEE), Pidgin Sign Language (PSE), Tactile, Oral and Deaf interpreting, as well as Cued Speech and Real Time Captioning. We also provide interpreters fluent in Mexican Sign Language (MSL) and spoken Spanish.
• Workshops on Deaf culture and related issues.

At TXIS, we pride ourselves on providing certified/qualified interpreters with a rapid response time at competitive rates. This means that we are available to your organization 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
